Week Three Preview vs New England

Hey guys!

I cannot tell you how excited I am to be posting this week three review. The first reason: I will be attending the game with a few of my homeboys. That is right, I am going to watch my favorite team take on the defending Super Bowl champs, one of the hottest teams playing right now! Me and my boys are traveling up to Foxborough in style, too. We rented a sweet stretch limousine from Hartford Limos in West Hartford, CT. I can only wish for a huge upset but I know we will play them tough. And the second: the Jags won this past weekend! How exciting is that?!

Quarterback Blake Bortles, our second-year player turned in one of the best individual game of his tenure. He tossed for 273 yards and two passing scores and completed with a individual best passer rating of 102.2. He additionally ran twice for 27 yards and moved in the pocket well to extend pays for some additional time to make completions. We are going to need him to play at a higher level this weekend in order to have a chance at defeating New England. Keeping plays alive without making mistakes will be key for Bortles.

Wide out Allen Robinson was a breakout star this past weekend. He got six completions for 155 yards and two scores, yet he was amazing in all aspects of the game–in particular to pass blocking.¬†We are going to need him to continue at this level of play. He is our key play maker on offensive with his soft hands and quick feet. I believe New England will have a difficult time with Robinson in single coverage.

Kicker Jason Myers bounced back by going 3-for-3 against Miami. We are going to need him to be clutch again this weekend in Foxborough. Hopefully the missed field goal and extra point in week one was opening day jitters and not game day pressure. I hate to say it, but this game is like our Super Bowl!

Tight end Marcedes Lewis needs to be more involved in the passing attack. He is a talented player with superior football ability like he has shown us in the past. A revival is waiting and there is no better place to make it happen than against the Patriots!

See you all on Sunday…..Lets go BLACK and GOLD!
